Fun Sports Classes
Agility Level 1 - Foundations $155 + current vaccines
This is an introduction to non-competitive agility. You and your dog will learn how to navigate different pieces of regulations agility equipment each week. Agility is a great team building exercise for you and your dog, and is a lot of fun! This is a 6-week course (once a week, 1 hour per class) and is open to dogs 8 months and older.
Agility Level 2 - Handler Skills $155 + current vaccines
Agility 1 taught your dog to understand and accept each obstacle...now we will add on to it and get you and your dog to focus on listening and paying attention to body language. We will take the courses that we run to a different level, turns and twists in the courses. In Level 2, we will learn things like Out and Here!, Threadles, Front Crosses, Rear Crosses, and Serpentines, to name a few. The goal of this class is to really start to hone in on running a course, increasing their drives, making them faster, and taking the courses to the next level. This is a 6-week course (once a week, 1 hour per class).
Agility Level 3 - Bringing It All Together $155 + current vaccines
Agility 1 & 2 taught your dog to understand and accept each obstacle...now it is time to really push the envelope! This class will focus on your body language and really teaching dogs to focus on listening skills, your body language and making choices (the right ones). We will take the courses that we run to a different level, no more straight objects...we will make turns and twists in the courses. The goal of this class is to really start to hone in on running a course, increasing their drives, making them faster, and taking the courses to the next level. This is a 6-week course (once a week, 1 hour per class). This class is all outdoor. The only time we cancel is if it is raining or snowing. Cold doesn't stop us!
Agility Level 4 - Analyzing and Perfecting Courses $155 + current vaccines
Agility 4 will test you and your dog's skills with more difficult courses and will work on increasing your drive and speed. There will be a few new skills introduced too! This class is held off site and will be held outdoors in a secured, enclosed area. Classes will be held unless it is raining or snowing! Cold weather doesn't stop us!
Flyball $155 + current vaccines
Flyball is a team relay racing dog sport where dogs run down a course over 4 hurdles, hit a box that shoots out a ball, then grab the ball and run back over the 4 hurdles. All this while passing other dogs starting their run down the course, and while facing off against another team! It is great fun for dogs and handlers alike and a great sport for dogs of any age and size. If your dog loves to play fetch and ball games, this sport may be for you! NOTE: Pre-requisite for this class is Retrieve and Play (see below).
Freestyle - Dancing With Your Dog! $155 + current vaccines
Canine Freestyle is a choreographed performance organized with msuic, illustrating the training and joyful relationship of a dog and handler team. Freestyle is an excellent discipline to illlustrate the conformation and movement of the dog. The reach, drive, and beauty of an athletic, trained dog moving to music can take one's breath away! this is a 6-week course.
Nosework $155 + current vaccines
This is a 6-week course that will work on your dog's natural ability to use their strongest skill - scent! This is a class that you and your dog will have a great time working together!
Retrieve and Play $110 + current vaccines
This is a fun 3-week class! Teaching your dog to retrieve items and focusing on play. This class is a fun way to teach your dog different play styles and games while focusing on retrieving! Classes will run for three consecutive weeks from the start date, same day, same time. Note: this class is a pre-requisite for flyball!
Do More With Your Dog! $155 + current vaccines
Targeting Level 1 $155 + current vaccines
This 6-week course will teach you and your dog targeting skills. Dogs can accomplish tasks by "targeting" something with their nose or paw. You and your dog will learn some amazing (and challenging) tricks to show off and play some great games using targeting only. Your dog will learn to dribble a ball, pick up and put their toys away, distinguish shapes and colors, and even ride a skateboard! Open to dogs of any age. Classes are held once a week, one hour per class.
Targeting Level 2 $155 + current vaccines
This class builds on the first level of targeting which teaches dogs to "touch" things with their nose (or paw) to accomplish tasks. In this class we will use the clicker to shape behaviors such as opening cupboards picking up objects to bring to you, fold laundry, do a handstnad on a wall and much more! The class is 6 weeks long. Targeting level 1 is a prerequisite for this class.
Treiball Basics $155 + current vaccines
The herding sport! Treiball is called Urban Herding because it replaces sheep with large balls so herding can be accessbile to any dog. Even city dogs! It promotes teamwork and good communication between dogs and their people as the dogs are sent to "herd" large balls back to a goal. Treibball is a positive reinforcement sport and is great fun.
